Beringer
The wine has a dark ruby-garnet color with aromas of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, sweet orange, rose water, anise and spice. This Pinot Noir has a ripe, lush fruit mouth of fresh picked sweet red cherries and strawberries, a bright backbone and supple tannins.
Wine Spectator
Floral, spicy, medium-bodied and delicate, with fragrant black cherry, herb, spice and blackberry fruit that gains depth and complexity. Young and tight. Drink now through 2012.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
