International Wine CellarInky cherry and blackberry scents are given depth by espresso, dark chocolate and smoked meat. Ripe, dense and chewy, with weighty cassis and plum ﬂ avors. Takes a dry turn on the ﬁnish, showing solid tannins and a slow-mounting kirsch quality. Give this brooding shiraz some air of you're opening it any time soon.
Wine SpectatorHas a smoky edge to the dark berry flavors. Finishes a bit hot, with hints of licorice and pepper. Best after 2008. 2,800 cases made.
